Secure Random Password Generator

1. Select Length Use the slider or the number input box to define how long your password should be. We recommend at least 12 characters for general accounts and 16+ for sensitive data (banking, email).

2. Choose Character Types Check the boxes for the characters you want to include:

  • Uppercase & Lowercase: Adds letter variety.
  • Numbers: Adds numerical complexity.
  • Symbols: Adds special characters (!, @, #) which exponentially increases difficulty for hackers.

3. Apply Advanced Filters If you plan to write the password down or dictate it over the phone, check “Exclude Similar Characters.” This removes confusing pairs like the number 0 and the letter O, or the number 1 and the letter l.

4. Generate & Analyze Click “Generate Password.” The tool will create a random string and display it. The Strength Meter bar below the password will light up Green (Strong) or Red (Weak) based on the entropy of the result.

5. Copy Click the “Copy to Clipboard” button (or click directly on the password text) to copy it instantly for use.
